TGRFC make Edogawa 7’s Finals

Congratulations to TGRFC 7s A Team who made the final of the Edogawa 7's competition yesterday! After the lads dominated the previous games, smashing Donkeys and Supermen, Team PSI proved too strong on the day wining the final 43-7.

Ironically PSI was the same team who knocked off TGRFC 7s B Team 43-14 in the earlier stages of the competition, although the boys held their own with 2 beautifully crafted prop's trys. The B Team came up against the winners in the first round and were unfortunately knocked out straight away in the eight team competition.

The A Team flogged Donkeys 56 v 0 in their first game and then came back from a try down to beat Supermen 14 v 5. They were outclassed by the PSI team however, despite having 5 Fijians in the game.

Cheers to everyone for coming down! Good to have Gaz Dalrymple back out on the field after a year out of the game and two debutants in Glen Amos and Mark Armstrong. 18 year old Apisai Bati Jnr also put in some strong performances and was the leading tryscorer for the A Team with 4 meat pies.
