With the Shuto League in full swing, the Tokyo Gaijin RFC played a 'Friendly' match against Nerima RFC in order to get some valuable game time for the newer members of the club that have failed to get much game time during the competition games.. Not much is known about Nerima RFC. It seems they are a team of Army players and are looking to enter the Shuto League, hence their interest in a 'friendly' game against the TGRFC.....to check out the level of competition.

The Tokyo Gaijin RFC have blown All Jin Jan RFC off the park with a comprehensive victory at Inagi Stadium in the second round of the 2015 Shuto League.. The 15 try blitz gave the Gaijin an 89 v 7 victory.. Gorka Gerediaga, Joe Nawaqavanua and new boy Harry Bucknell scored doubles. The Gaijin also introduced four new players into the game in Michael Van der Lans from the Netherlands, Nathan Rasquinet from Belgium, Boris Gombeer from France and the aforementioned Harry Bucknell from England. It is interesting to note that there were 13 different nationalities in the Gaijin squad which may be a new club record. ...and the new Scottish guy slept in and missed the game.

Four tries from enigmatic Fijian flanker Apisai Bati helped the Tokyo Gaijin RFC to a comfortable win over Shinjuku Jacks RFC in the first round of the Shuto League. The captain of the Tokyo Gaijin RFC and top tryscorer for 2014 is heading up the list again as the 45 year old goes from strength to strength.

The Tokyo Gaijin RFC Northern Hemisphere side has upstaged their Southern Hemisphere counterparts by making it to the final of the Shuto League 10's, however, despite a brave performance they went down in the final to Komaba Watermelonmen by 10 v 12.
