Round 2 of the 2015 Tokyo Cup was played at Kasai Rinkai Koen Sports Ground and saw the Tokyo Gaijin RFC take on All Jin Jan RFC.(AJJ). AJJ had beaten Donkeys RFC by an even larger score than the Gaijin had beaten them last round and had also put up a strong battle in their last encounter in the Shuto League in 2014. It was a hot day for May but beautiful conditions for watching rugby.

A rugby game in the middle of Golden Week is generally not a good idea as many people take the 5 day holiday to get out of Tokyo and do a spot of travelling.. The Tokyo Gaijin RFC struggled to get a team together in the lead-up to the game but it would be STRUG RFC (an acronym for STreet RUGby) who would struggle on the day as the Gaijin put up a cricket score against them.

The Tokyo Gaijin RFC turned up at Kasai Rinkai Koen Rugby Field for their first round clash with Donkeys RFC hoping to start the Tokyo Cup better than they did last year. A full squad, a large group of helpers and fans, and everyone almost on time meant the team got off to a positive start. At 1pm Donkeys RFC kicked off and it was 'game on'.

The Tokyo Gaijin RFC arranged a "Friendly" game against Chiba Barbarians RFC as a warm-up for the upcoming Tokyo Cup. The Chiba Barbarians are the best amatuer side in Chiba prefecture so the match was considered an ideal warm-up. Unfortunately the Gaijin could only muster 15 players but they were able to put together a decent team even though some players were out of position.
