Gents,
There are times when it is necessary to communicate news that is painful. During those times we must be prepared to support each other as we deal with the many feelings that we might experience. It is with great sorrow that I inform you that Akira YAMAGEN has passed away of a myocardial infarction.
He has been our league liaison for several years and helped us massively ease tensions between our club and other clubs and associations,standing up for us when nobody else would. We have lost a brother in arms and he will be sorely missed.
Death can be difficult for us to understand, especially when it is sudden. We may feel different emotions: shock, sadness, confusion, even someanger. What is most important is that we care for and support each other.
Tokyo Gaijin RFC administration will keep you updated as more information is given to us.

チーム各位
既にお聞きおよびの方も多いと思いますが、我々東京外人の一員であり、また所属する首都リーグ幹事長でもあったやまげんこと山元朗氏が心筋梗塞で亡くなりました。
山元氏においては首都リーグ幹事長を10年にわたり続けられ、影に日向に東京のクラブラグビーを支えた人でありました。また東京外人においても、我々とレフリー各位、協会、または自治体との間を常々取り持っていただいたかけがえのない人でした。
ここに故人のチームへの寄与に深く感謝するとともに、ご冥福をお祈りいたします。
なお、今後の告別式等の日程についてはまた別途首脳部よりご連絡します。
