Congratulations to TGRFC 7s A Team who made the final of the Edogawa 7's competition yesterday! After the lads dominated the previous games, smashing Donkeys and Supermen, Team PSI proved too strong on the day wining the final 43-7.
The Tokyo Gaijin RFC turned up at the beautiful Inagi Stadium to do battle with Kichioji Wild Turkeys on a beautiful Autumn day. Their main aim was to continue their unbeaten run in the 2014 Shuto League. The Wild Turkeys had beaten another tough team in the league in the Tokyo Crusaders, last year's champions, so the Gaijin knew that they would be no pushover. The Gaijin got the victory they were looking for with an 8 tries to 3 romp coming home winners to the tune of 48 v 19.

In a tough, gritty match at Yanokuchi Field the Tokyo Gaijin RFC prevailed over the Tokyo Crusaders to continue their winning run in the Shuto League. The close 13 v 10 result means that they remain undefeated so far in this campaign after four rounds. It did not come without cost though as 3 players came off the field injured and two went straight off to hospital. Angus Brown got four stitches just above his eye after a head clash with his own player, Guillermo Alonso, who was also sporting a blood red-tinged headband at the end of the match. Apisa Bati was also replaced midway through the second half with a rather nasty thumb injury which also required stitches.

On a perfect sunny day for rugby out at Yanokuchi Field the Tokyo Gaijin RFC unceremoniously whipped Olivers RFC to the tune of 67 v 7 in the third round of the 2014 Shuto League to stay undefeated in the league. The win was very special for the Gaijin as they hadn't beaten Olivers for two years and lost the Shuto League last year due to one loss and it was a sizable loss to Olivers. Revenge is sweet!
